“Today, the eyes of all people are truly upon us  and our government, in every branch, at every level, national, state, and local, must be as a city upon a hill, constructed and inhabited by men aware of their grave trust and their great responsibilities.”

John Fitzgerald Kennedy – 1961

To listen to the Administration the country’s all volunteer military is a resounding success.  However, dependence on an all-volunteer armed forces made up of dedicated and highly-educated American citizens has not panned out as well we have been led to believe.

While recruitment goals have been generally reached, the services have had to relay on financial incentives and substantially lower standard.  One would think that our leaders would have learned from the results of dumbing down our educational system that lowering the bar ultimately results

But the demands on active and activated reserve forces required by the wars.

The Pentagon’s proposed outsourcing of our military and national security is shear folly!
